ENG: In this experimental mini-album, Bauchamp starts from the computer concept of snippet (small reusable portion of source code, formally defined units to be incorporated into larger modules), to replay the hyper-speed and liquidity of the ubiquitous swipe. Fragments of pieces, cut short by the digital appetite, are like undeveloped promises, but also the possible elements of a post-post-modern combinatorial aesthetic.

ENG: Born Leo Ramsey, Bauchamp grew up in the sub tropical countryside of Rwanda, a small and green country of central Africa. Back in Switzerland, he excelled in mathematics in school without working and he finally majored in history of arts. First Leo Ramsey went into film acting for the money, though playing music was always his true love. He began with experimental collage music, fascinated by electronics pioneers and the lo-fi indie scene and then he went into dance music, candidly discovering raves and club culture. After several years of searching and experiments, from serial repetitive percussion pieces to cut up techno funk, from noise electro-acoustic explorations to electro booty, Bauchamp started in 2007 to perform lives in glamorous clubs and underground parties. He has also released tracks on various labels such as Mental Groove, Viking Music, FoF, Raoul Record, Argent Sale, EHR and has collaborated with artists such as Round Table Knights, rap singer Roccobelly, Larytta, Bern-Portmore Jamaican Tsunami or legendary Tatum Rush.

ITA: Nato Leo Ramsey, Bauchamp è cresciuto nella campagna sub tropicale del Ruanda, un piccolo e verde paese dell'Africa centrale. Tornato in Svizzera, eccelleva in matematica a scuola senza lavorare e alla fine si è specializzato in storia dell'arte. La carriera di Leo Ramsey è iniziata nel mondo del cinema, recitando non tanto per passione quant per i soldi, nonostante suonare sia sempre stato il suo vero amore. Ha iniziato con la musica sperimentale del collage, affascinato dai pionieri dell'elettronica e dalla scena indie lo-fi e poi è entrato nella musica dance, scoprendo candidamente i raves e la sotto-cultura dei club. Dopo diversi anni di ricerche e sperimentazioni, dalle serie ripetitive di percussioni al taglio del funk techno, dalle esplorazioni elettroacustiche al rumore all'elettro booty, Bauchamp ha iniziato nel 2007 a esibirsi in locali glamour e feste underground. Ha anche pubblicato brani su varie etichette come Mental Groove, Viking Music, FoF, Raoul Record, Argent Sale, EHR e ha collaborato con artisti come Round Table Knights, il cantante rap Roccobelly, Larytta, lo tsunami giamaicano Bern-Portmore o il leggendario Tatum Rush.

FR: Leo Ramsey ou plus artistiquement Bauchamp a grandi au Rwanda. De retour en Suisse, il excelle en maths à l'école et obtient quelques années plus tard une licence en histoire de l'art. Ses études terminées et bien que la musique soit son grand amour, il entre dans le monde du cinéma pour des raisons financières. Parallèlement à ses performances d'acteur, Il débute son épopée musicale en expérimentant différents styles musicaux, il reste cependant fasciné par les pionniers de la scène électro et lo-fi indie et découvre peu à peu la dance, les raves et la culture clubbing. Après plusieurs années de recherches et d’expériences musicales ou il mélange percussion centre-africaine et techno-funk, électro-noise et rap, Bauchamp commence à se produire dès 2007 dans des soirées underground et dans des clubs glamours. Il produit ses premiers morceaux sur Mental groove et Viking music , puis sur Argent Sale et EHR et collabore avec Round Table Knights, le rappeur Suisse Roccobelly, Larytta, Tsunami ou le légendaire Tatum Rush.
